Descendents: Milo Goes to College 12"

Here it is, the Descendents first, and without a doubt best, album. Containing none of the syrupy pop that they would trademark on their later releases, this teeters back and forth between blistering hardcore and slightly more melodic, downbeat stuff that anticipate where bands like Husker Du and Squirrel Bait would do in later years, but the Descendents are way tougher. Like the Adolescents first LP, this is the kind of record you can throw on at a party and before you know it everyone will be crowded around the turntable singing along. SST Records
