Artificial Peace: Complete Session November 1981 12"

Artificial Peace are definitely one of the lesser-known bands from the original harDCore era, but that hardly means they weren't great. If these guys aren't mentioned in the same breath as bands like the Faith and Minor Threat I'd say that it's mostly because they never really completely clarified their vision. While most of this LP is straightforward hardcore that sound, at times, remarkably similar to the early Faith stuff, there's also a very heavy oi! influence as well as some little post-punk touches as well. So, perhaps it's not as immediate as many of the genre-defining classics that Dischord produced during these years, but if you dig early 80s hardcore this will tear your face off for sure.
